Librarian's Message

Greetings from the Hem Barua Library.

It gives me immense pleasure to welcome you all to the abode of knowledge. Libraries are the repository of knowledge where you can access information for your professional needs, to improve your learning, or simply for leisure. Currently, the term "library" appears to be used in a wide variety of contexts, including both physical and digital libraries. They are ever-evolving, dynamic spaces where librarians assist users in locating the finest informational asset, be it a book, website, or database entry. And so, to meet the needs of the user, the Hem Barua Library offers an effective collection and efficient services that are adapted to the users’ requirements which includes a substantial collection of reading materials, including textbooks, reference books, journals, and electronic sources. It promotes research and teaching-learning activities and offers services to faculty, students, and staff for knowledge updating. The Library's objective is to foster a love of reading while also promoting education and lifelong learning.
